Cava Winery and Vineyard’s 3rd Annual Wine & Wings Festival

by Nicole Belanger

Napa Valley isn’t the only place home to lavish wineries, in fact there are 48 wineries right here in the garden state. Cava Winery and Vineyard located in Hamburg, New Jersey, is more than just a winery and is a great destination for a day trip. In the summer months in particular, Cava Winery hosts a variety of events comprised of food, fun activities, live entertainment, and to no surprise, wine.

If you’re not booked for this weekend, Cava Winery will be hosting a Wine & Wings festival on Saturday, August 1st, from 12 pm to 8 pm. Various food and wine related vendors will be coming together to provide an exciting day for the community. Live entertainment will be provided in conjunction with 3 other wineries. Purchase your tickets here  and receive a complimentary wine goblet. Advanced sale tickets are $10 and include entrance, entertainment, and wine tasting. Children 14 or under are not required to purchase a ticket for entry.

Aside from Cava’s summer jam event, visit the winery for a relaxing getaway, starting your day with morning yoga on the Yoga Wine Trail. Certified instructors teach a class before Cava even opens, ensuring a quiet release of tension and stress while overlooking the grapevines and beautiful hills. After your morning exercise, take a free tour of the winery, head indoors for some food and wine, or visit the gift shop to bring home a piece of Cava with you. Your day doesn’t have to end there, though. During the evening hours, enjoy live entertainment, delicious meals, and comfortable seating before heading home.
